Introduction to Fire Service training with JSA

Welcome to John Seymour Associates Fire & Rescue Services Training Section

John Seymour Associates (JSA) has spent several years developing relationships, and training programmes that deliver for the service a number of fundamental training requirements.

The training courses cover 6 key areas:

• Fire Fighter and Control Operators training needs in-line with IPDS ‘People Skills’ and job role competencies.
• Crew and Watch Management (supervisory) training needs in-line with IPDS ‘People Skills’ and job role competencies.
• Station and Group Management (middle) training needs in-line with IPDS ‘People Skills’ and job role competencies.
• Area and Brigade Management (Strategic) training needs in-line with IPDS ‘People Skills’ and job role competencies.
• Delivery of an experiential 2 day programme for all those now responsible for discipline, under the changes in the ‘Grey Book’
• Bespoke solutions are currently being offered for developing the retained element of the Fire Service.
