Course Validation and accreditation
Our Programme has been fully validated by the University of the West of England, meaning it has recognised academic credit leading to a higher educational award, along with this we have designed the course using the BABCP guidelines and are currently forwarding our application for BABCP and BACP accreditation.

Supervision
Work-based supervision will be essential to the training and development of any CBT Therapist and has been outlined as possibly the most important requirement for any CBT course. Some supervised practice will be available during Stages 2 and 3 of the progression pathway however this will not be enough to cover the 200 hours set in BABCP guidelines. It will be essential to apply work-based supervision during the course to enable delegates to practice CBT in their job roles, this will allow delegates to address problems in “real time” rather than in a simulated situation. Delegates will be required to nominate a supervisor within their company who will then be assessed by our in-house team to ensure they meet the requirements set in BABCP guidelines (available on request). Should you be unable to find an appropriate supervisor please call a member of the team for a further discussion.
University of the West of England benefits
From stage one of the CBT progression pathway all delegates will be registered as university students. This will enable access to the extensive University library and especially the Health and Social Care Faculty. All enrolled students will be entitled to use the full facilities of the University and all students eligible to become a member of the nationwide student union which entitles you to further benefits.
