The management learning and development team offers an effective organisational psychology approach. From initial recruitment and personality testing, organisational strategy through to implementation of tailored training and coaching requirements. We work with leading private and public sector organisations within finance, manufacturing and service industries. The Team has a thorough appreciation of different needs including work overseas in the public sector.

The Team consists of consultants with experience in individual assessments of thousands of people up to Chief Executive level.

What are the applications for psychometrics?

Applications of psychometrics include:

The appropriate use of psychometrics is essential to optimise human resource development in order to produce outstanding results.

We use both test and interview methods to ensure the individual and organisation requirements are fully met. The Team’s approach has a deep appreciation of HR and our consultants have worked for major organisations within HR and senior management roles.

What about psychometrics and teamwork?
Given a variety of potential options for teamwork, the JSA teamwork approach looks into team and individual motives, needs and talents in order to identify the ingredients for success.

Approaches include using a variety of questionnaires, group exercises, and specially designed one to one sessions.

Sometimes, however, we will have a more ‘game like feel’ if this will help to meet your outcomes.

Although each piece of teamwork will be specifically tailored to clients needs, we offer the specific use of MBTI for teamwork (Myers-Briggs). Carried out over two or three separate sessions, using MBTI involves individual understanding, followed by understanding team type, team dynamics, team approach to use of time and conflict and thereby seeks to develop the close psychological understanding of each other that is the hallmark of high achieving teams.
